Whiteboard Marketing is an independent marketing firm with a diverse clientele locally, regionally, and nationally, ranging from small to medium-sized businesses. Our clients service multiple industries, including dentistry, healthcare, home improvement, retirement communities, technology and franchise. Job Type: Full-time

The Account Director job description:

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing strategies included but not limited to website development, search engine optimization, pay per click, social media marketing, online reviews and reputation, blogs, business listings, graphic design, mailers, 3rd party print placement, TV/Radio, google analytics.  Training provided.
  • Manage client account from strategy to implementation, and address day-to-day and long-term processes.  Additionally, manage the internal agency marketing team assigned to the client account
  • Acquire and generate qualified business leads
  • Retain clients and incrementally grow accounts
  • Develop prospects and close sales as necessary
  • Respond to and manage incoming leads
  • Document, track and monitor all leads and closed sales via internal CRM
  • Work towards being the outsourced marketing director for your clients
  • Onboard and manage new clients and see through execution of assigned services
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for multiple clients
  • Provide strategic thinking and consultation to help clients achieve their goals
  • Review reporting and analytics with client on consistent basis
  • Understand clients in detail, including their industry, competitive positioning, and messaging; understand the client’ tactical needs and key strategic aspects
  • Group presentation capabilities 


  • Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing/Public Relations
  • 5 years sales and marketing/account management experience
  • Ability to acquire and manage 20-30 clients
  • Hands-on marketing experience, including social media management, website design, email marketing, Pay-Per-Click advertising, SEO, reputation management, graphic design and other key services
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word), Google Drive, email marketing systems, Basecamp or other project management systems
